VinoFest 2014 @ Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla

VinoFest 2014, one of Mumbai’s largest wine festivals will be the first of its kind to take place in the Eastern Suburbs, with Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla being the venue for this unique event that will bring together Indian and imported wineries, cheese, art and fashion in an exciting celebration of fine wines with good food and great memories, from 31st January to 2ndFebruary 2014.

Bringing their specialty Wines to VinoFest will be leading names such as Nine Hills, Grover Zampa Vineyards, Charosa Wineries, Reveilo Wines, Turning Point as well as imported wines like Jacob's Creek, Ixora Vineyards, Continental Wines offering a taste of wines not only from India but also fromAustralia, Germany, Spain, France and South Africa These can be perfectly paired with exotic flavored Cheese from Go Cheese, The Cheese Collective, Epicure / Milkana. Taking the guests through these tastings will be Shamita Singha, the multifaceted event organizer, wine connoisseur and model.

Besides these savouring’s, one can enjoy Sangria making classes conducted by John D'souza - Wine Trainer & Mixologist of Turning Point Wines every day at 7 pm and also view pulsating Salsa performances by Conrad Coelho Dance School, every evening. Guests can join in to learn a step or two of this invigorating dance style! Another highlight every evening will the much loved tradition of Grape Stomping, a ceremony that marks the start of the grape harvest season. Guests can hop into a huge vat full of grapes, and stomp away to crush the grapes beneath their feet while having a “Barrelful” of fun!
